Westview Village Apartments
The Westview Village project involves the redevelopment of 180 existing public housing units as a new neighborhood of 286 affordable rental apartments for families and seniors, 34 for-sale townhomes, and 4 community buildings on a 20 acre site in Ventura. The project as a whole is designed to achieve LEED Neighborhood Development and each building is projected for LEED Platinum certification.
Westview Village was the first public housing property to be constructed in the City of Ventura in 1952. The first phase of 131 dwellings is complete. The second phase of 105 family dwellings and third phase of 50 senior dwellings are under agency review. The fourth phase is currently in conceptual design.
