Casa de las Fuentes is a 42 unit “village” of affordable studios and one-bedroom units, located in Santa Barbara, and intended for the downtown workforce. Designed by our Santa Barbara office, Peikert + RRM Design Group, this project is built on less than an acre of land, and over an on-grade parking podium to achieve a livable density of 57 units per acre. The courtyard housing style is reminiscent of the charming, Mediterranean-style, courtyard apartments built in the 1920s to 1930s in Los Angeles.
