Your role looks like:
-
Assist with engineering plans using AutoCAD
-
Work collaboratively with senior staff to develop your understanding of structural design
-
Contribute to project mark-ups, site visits (rarely) , and ensure that CAD work meets RRM’s standards
-
Prepare engineering plans with AutoCAD
-
Coordinate with engineers and CAD staff to ensure accurate and high-quality work.

Participate in project coordination, incorporating construction details and ensuring project deadlines are met
-
Manage design and CAD direction for small projects or portions of larger projects
-
Provide design and CAD direction to junior staff
-
Assist in the preparation of task budgets within a proposal, under the direction of a Project Manager
What you’ll bring to the table:
-
High School diploma
- Minimum of 1 year of structural engineering drafting experience.

AutoCAD training preferred
-
Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
-
Associate’s or technical degree in CAD or related field.
-
Minimum of 3 years of structural engineering drafting experience.

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Associate’s or technical degree in CAD or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of structural engineering drafting experience.

Proficiency in AutoCAD
Above & Beyond:

Familiarity with Revit.

The hiring range for this role is targeted at $25.00 – $38.25 per hour depending on skills and experience.
